idk if it's the casters or the early starts or just the general tournament, but imo shanghai feels like the most meh tournament I've watched in valorant ever
Woah there! that sarcasm was way too hard to follow for the average vlr user. I've rephrased your post so people might understand it:
SARCASM TO FOLLOW: I (sarcastically) would rather they struggle forever (I'm joking, I don't actually want them to struggle forever) than me once. Hopefully you all understand my intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings, I was simply being sarcastic, for the joke. /s because I have empathy, and understand why they might want the opportunity to watch matches live as well.
i mean i watched on both timezones its not really a problem for me and i wouldnt care if it were held on NA timezones but to say it should be held in only NA is just stupid for valorants pov bc they want more fans worldwide with oppurtuinitys for fans across the world to expeirence matches in real time in the arenas, if ur unable to watch on other timezones vods are there any u dont have to look at vlr or twitter to be told the scorelines of matches before they watch the vod so its a new match to watch regardless, but all i hear from the NA viewerbase is complaining ect so im not suprised their isnt a crybaby in the comments wanting only NA events
pre mickey mouse imo no team apart from geng rn are puting on a insane peformance like sen eg fnatic (last yrs version obvs) and yes obviously eg core disbanded, i feel like every game at madrid was a good watch by everyteam apart from fpx that tournement, but with this tournement its just games that are 1 sided but the teams that are winning with the one sided scorelines not even looking remotely good, for people saying timezones the viewship is there but the feeling and the looks of it doesnt even feel like a masters event it literally just looks a redbull homegrounds event, hope champs is better than this because having champs and shanghai being horrible watches just isnt good pr, i feel like its going to be better for champs bc of the teams cooking at home and overall the motivation for the players to win champs as their goal i feel like however mid it is during the year for the future champs is where most if not all teams actually lock into their fullest potential
Tokyo felt more hype for me even with the time zone difference. The games there felt like they held more hype, excitement, and weight. Besides the G2 games i donโt care about the results sadly. I think also for me the maps just arenโt super exciting to watch. When we had Pearl, Fracture, and Haven all at once it was more entertaining.
No hype teams from Americas like LOUD, NRG, SEN. Instead we got G2 with NPC personality players winning all of their match when no one really expect and cares about them.
PooperRex, one of the favorites playing like their team just formed. T1 waste of slot, DRX can bring more hype and competition.
FNC's 4 star players can't carry botster anymore. TH roster will forever have a sub. FUT playing good but same as G2, no one cares about them.
CN teams. Waste of slot. Kan't Kan't win.
Maps are shit.
