Or is 2024 the least interesting season of Valorant

It’s a weird middle ground between establishing as a real esport and being interesting on its own accord

None of the orgs or players that brought us here are still around, NA/SA are expected to win every event like it’s been since the first international

It’s hard for me as someone that watched every event and game to comment in good faith on the state of things and not acknowledge that it’s become almost tedious

I’m having trouble verbalizing, but I feel like there’s not a single team this year that could complete the with the teams from Champions last year

“Interesting” might be the wrong word, but I want to see …. innovation, something new

Idk, I feel like previous years had a solid fundamental FPS difference between group stage and playoff bye teams and this year is more equal (or worse because quals felt random)

I kind of get what you feel, not during Madrid but only now. I think it lost some of the excitement bcuz i cant watch any games live plus the map pool is terrible

Na u’re dumb. This year is by far the best bc we’re seeing new teams winning(TH, KC, 100T, GEN, etc) and regions have become especially closer in skill wise! Pacific this year has finally awoken

2022 LOUD and OPTC don’t lose a map to any of these teams

The only player comparing to 2023 demon1 is aspas and people are discrediting him because his team isn’t performing

Edit: Pacific doesn’t look any better, probably worse
China is on the come up if anything

We've had many amazing series this year and I don't want to put down anyone. But looking at the state of play in the VCT right now it seems really difficult to stay consistent with the current format. The post-Madrid slump of so many teams and how inconsistent SO MANY teams in general have looked this year is a bit worrying.

i kinda agree but i genuinely think 2022 champions was some of the most entertaining valorant, loved the long OTs and stuff. the teams with that crazy xfactor this year have honestly only been GENG, TH and KC IMHO would've loved to see them play prime EG
