sen are basically guaranteed if they win 1 more because they have to have more points than the remaining teams that didn’t make it in playoffs in split 2. It’s highly unlikely that the top 3 seeds in split 2 dont qual. also it’s within the group so there aren’t going to be many teams that go undefeated.
unsure tbh, theres a world where KRU win games, but dont make top 3 in split 2 (assuming LEV win, and LOUD and potentially NRG/100T make top 3)
in that cause KRU could catch up to SEN and make it on champ points instead of SEN.
though i think this scenario is unlikely as LEV are gonna be burnt out after shanghai, same with Loud who probably need to fix comps with viper in them. thus SEN probably will do better than them in split 2
i think theres a good chance they do. im not the biggest fan of how they are abandoning their team fight style in Split 1, and they are gonna suffer badly from the cypher and viper nerfs
if they innovate between now and split2, i think they can come up with a new style/return to their original roots
technically they need 11 more points for them to be guaranteed to make it. This is assuming kru wins playoffs and shanghai and wins 4 more matches in split 2 but don't make top 3 in split 2 playoffs.
Obviously this is impossible as even if sen dont make playoffs but win all their games in split 2 they would still need 7 more champ points,
and so they can never have a 100% chance of qualifying through champ points.
let's say kru wins playoffs but not shanghai and win 3 games in split 2 reg season. Sen would then need to win 3 to 4 out of 4 games in the regular season to have enough to make shanghai off champ points assuming kru dont make top 3.
