Masters Madrid was the biggest L of a tournament. Both finalist teams are B tier at best. GenG will probably be 3rd in APAC and Sen won't even qualify for playoffs.

The team has time to reset and go off radars before heading to stage 2 and champs. If I was a part of a team basically guaranteed for champs I would love nothing more than to have this break to develop new strats and let other teams figure out the meta during Masters 2.

Not really if you have a realistic approach towards the game and its meta, rather than a stubborn fan wanting the team to always win everything. As a true fan, I want the team to perform well and that does not mean always winning.

its not about winning. Its the fact that when ur a fan of a team u generally want to watch them play. They cant play if they loose cuz rito runs 3 tournaments a year. if they dont make playoffs u wont see them play till sebtember

Being realistic its not possible to keep winning everything. If its about watching them then an esports team always creates a lot of other content that can be watched.
I get it that as a fan you want your team on top but in these kinds of games and with such stacked schedules its not very practical.
