After an extended suspenseful period, Valorant El-Diablo yay’s plans for the VCT 2024 season have finally been confirmed. On September 16, 2024, popular Indian org, Global Esports revealed that yay will fill the hole on Global Esports's Valorant roster.

Yay, used to be considered as one of the best players in North America, he will likely replace Ganesh "SkRossi" Gangadhar on the roster, according to multiple sources. Yay has provided a tremendous amount of firepower to the Optic/Envy team over most of the past year, primarily filling the duelist role on Jett, and the sentinel role on Chamber. The Global lineup has gone through multiple different roster changes and various trials already.

GE seems to be the first organization to cement a deal with one of the former OpTic players as yay will join a team with active members on the roster.
