crazy part is the rest of EG was t2 and demon1 was t3 they really are one of the biggest cinderella stories in esports

t1 is qualifying to int events, even Ethan wasnt at those events

unless u think optic and nrg are in the same tier lol

demon1 was tier 3 as well because tier 2 is the tier that eg, nrg, sen were in last year

No thats not how it works. Tier 1 is js the Top dawgs usually top 10 teams. U dont have to qual for international events to be tier 1. (Im talking about tier 1 standards before franchising btw) Only like 2 teams would qual from each región and ik for a fact there are more than 2 tier 1 teams. Plus sqn at there peak destroyed every t2 tourney and was ranked #17. T3 is anything rank #50 or worse

idk how to explain this but if you count nrg in the same tier as teams like loud optic fpx drx xset ur waffling, they are literally not in contention for t1

NRG and EG were like around 6th best in NA last year id say top 4 max is a tier 1 team

and following this logic it kinda separates EG and NRG from SQN,

EG and NRG were competitive salaried rosters that are good but arent qualifying for lans Demon1 was a popular talent but I cant consider a team that was on the same level as City Boys t2 lol

Tats js not how it works. Eg and nrg were bottom of the Barrel tier1 team. They could easily beat Top tier 2 but not mid-high tier 1

Edit: also sqn were literally high tier 2. Tier 2 is defined as anything better than ranked #50 (check val hangouts to fact check idk if it still applies wit franchising).

100t was probably like where I draw the line at t1 last year but Ethan was on NRG at the end of the year so thats my reasoning, Ethan had a rough 2022 in general even if it wasnt his fault
