should I learn stick shift or auto? (stick shift is manual) (my dad drives an auto and wants me to use my right foot for brakes and I hate it, (my left foot is dominant and its much more easier and comfortable))

im pretty sure like 95% of cars are auto but learn stick shift if you wanna be unique or something
I mean you can learn shift stick and still be able to drive auto. It’s probably pointless tho. And I’m pretty sure everyone uses their right foot for breaks (manual or not) but I’m not sure tho
If you drive stick you'll still use your left foot to brake... reason being you'll never brake and accelerate at the same time, but you might need to brake + clutch or accel + clutch.
Also, if you're driving auto, you'll react faster if you only use one foot (be it the right or the left one) since you'll always use that one foot, there's no time wasted in deciding which foot to move, only where to move it.
By far the worst option when driving auto is accelerating with one foot and braking with the other.
this is good advice, I guess I just gotta get familiar with the right foot, the problem is i think there's a problem with my ankle joints, they refuse to be flexible and it causes strain when I try to be subtle with with the pedals.
Learn manual. Driving automatic is very easy if you learn manual, but driving manual is hard if you learn automatic.
