read this comment, but isnt that literally the same for every game every sports.
in football you lose the world cup final you probably dont get a chance again in your entire career.
in the UCL, you get two legs all along the knockouts, multiple chances in group stages, but its just one singular 90 minute game in the UCL final.
forget football, even champions, fnatic may have dominated the entire year, they lose once in champs and they will be in the same spot.

From what I understand riot is going to have 2 teams ascending in one region, one this year and one next year. After that they start relegating the teams.
Then why not just make it so that 2 teams would ascend yearly instead of this current one/year bs?
The finalists of each ascension clear like half of their regions franchised teams anyway.
God I hate franchising.

It was a fluke.

They lost to both Acend and Apeks before entering the lower bracket AND dropped a map to SAW, they had just over 24 hours of extreme mechanical form. In the first games they didn't take a MAP. Idk how much clearer it can be indicated that it was a fluke result.

APEKS were the best Ascension team in Europe all year, now we have another French team that's going to come into tier 1 and underperform,
it's a waste of a spot.

Nobody wanted to see a bunch of players who competed in t1 already and thats what apeks is, they only won that many games because they were the best of the worst, they failed internationally several times lol
