Harder to play with or against high ping?

Whadup guys.
Had a descussion with one of my mates about ping. He is annoyed by people with high ping, because they are hard to hit and kill you weird.
I said, that playing with high ping is worse, because you aint hittin' nothin' and enemies see you earlier.

Are here any professional ping experts who can elaborate that topic on a more factful note?

Playing with high ping. is 13 times harder. Because if you have high enough ping to get rubber banded around. The game is practically unplayable.

I think its pretty obviously harder to play with high ping

not an expert on ping, but did experience horrible ping, it was so bad, I was getting 180 ping in my native server of NAE. I can tell you from extensive experience that its harder to play with high ping since you keep moving to undesired locations and often times your game freezes as a result of high ping. Your friend is wrong since high ping =/= harder to hit, matter of fact, they might be easier to hit since people with ping problems don't have much control of where they are going, so they look like AI's just running
