Plat Chat Rankings
Well this ranking is more about them beating both Optic or Loud to make it through groups. How can they be higher placed when they may have not a chance to make it further than 9-10th in the event? They are also a team with low LAN experience so it's pretty difficult to make a case where they go deeper in the tournament.

Did you even watch the stream? Because I swear to God you didn't do it, they literally said it dude that they placed Guild that low because they didn't believe they would beat Optic or Loud. My fucking point is them saying it, the power ranking title is confusing because they actually don't rank it like you said they did.
well of course with hindsight you can say it was a bad list, but I don't think many people would have taken KRU over LOUD with how hot LOUD was in BR playoffs and how flat KRU looked against LEV, and taking Optic over Guild was kinda seen as common logic considering Optic are the defending masters champs and Guild got 0-2'd by FNATIC and then 0-3'd by FPX
tbh not at all, we know how close all the regions were as proven by the last Lan event. I saw a solid chance of Kru beating Loud even tho I still gave Loud the slight edge in my pickems (they did poorly last lan but improved a lot in their domestic matches since and looked better than almost all br teams imo). I also predicted Guild beating Optic which proved to be correct.

Nah my preds are doing ok, I am pretty happy with how the matches went actually.
Top 6 (7th if you include fpx) are all reasonable in my opinion, but northeption and under is super muddy, i think xerxia levi and guild are all in similar rankings. Xerxia is a solid team with extensive lan experience, and guild has some s tier players, who, if they turn up at lan, could do some serious damage. Leviatan is untested but their coach onur isn't. If onur, who led kru to a top 4 finish can whip the team into shape they could do some damage. Northeption is a coinflip based on how meteor and derialy play, overall good list.
Guild is underrated. I get where they are coming from with groups situation, but still if you base it on power. People are focusing too much on the seeding games. Guild literally had just qualified to their org's and 4 of their players' first LAN event after trying for long time and always being so close. They didn't have anything to prove going into seeding games. They pretty much won already no matter the seed going into Masters. FPX had to prove that they truly are the number 1 team in EMEA after stage 1, and Fnatic obviously wanted to prove that they are the best team in EMEA after going undefeated in groups and overall being in the scene for long time. This is what even Sliggy said about Guild's seeding games performance. And yes it might be the basic "seeding game" excuse, but I truly think they didn't go full in.
And I also understand that these are the best teams from all regions, so EMEA #3 being high up wouldn't make sense, but who out of these teams would place top 2 in EMEA over Fnatic and FPX? Because I wouldn't be too sure about teams like Northeption, Leviatan, Xerxia or KRU and arguably even teams like DRX, PRX, XSET are in ? area aka I think that FPX could win over them.
