It was a good game and a good E-Sports to watch until 2016 where it had its peak entertainment/competitiveness. Today the game is all about Koreans and Chinese, the other regions don't even have a hope of winning a MSI/Worlds, the event already starts knowing that there is 99% chance of the final being between a Korean and Chinese team and 1% between Koreans vs Koreans/Chinese vs Chinese.

EU = Between the garbage cart and the dumpster
SEA/Vietnam = Trash and Garena's money scam
NA = Super Trash and retirement home for europeans and koreans
PCS = Region of a horrible mediocre team
BR = Only exists because Riot makes a lot of money from stupid people who still have hope of making more than 1/5 in the MSI/Worlds.
Turkey = Only exists to occasionally LEC teams get some talents for the price of a banana
Russia = Next year it won't even exist anymore
LATAM = Money laundering league for Colombian politicians and Mexican cartels
Oceania = Poor guys, it's been two years since Riot gave up on the region and today they survive by machines and ESL charity to launder money

China and Korea only good at 1 game tho

I like how some of the guys that complain about lol being only CN/KR are the same that go on defending that EU and NA should get most of the spots cause they’re the only regions with good teams

I have no clue why minor regions in LoL still get any kind of viewers

How can people waste their time watching shit gameplay and shit domestic teams, only to see them get destroyed by China, Korea, even Europe and North America at the only 2 international events per year

LoL is Esport that have biggest skill gap imo. Literally no one can compete againts EU/KR even EU. And its not like CSGO its popular globally

That's exactly why franchising=fucking trash for minor regions. Giving a free ticket to internationals only paves the way for them to be absolute garbage

Nah. Following LoL is actually really fun as EU person IMO. Because EU is 3rd best region and obviously there's big cap between EU and Korea/China, but EU still isn't 100% out. COPIUM. That spot is the best as supporter. You are huge underdog, but still have that small chance like in 2019 and even 2020. And even now following G2 in MSI is exciting even though they will most likely get rolled by LCK and LPL, but there's small hope.

Obviously I understand that for other regions.

china and korea both one country regions, however mixed region eu can barely compete against it, so there is nothing you can do other than changing the limitation of imports ( they'd get more koreans ) or mixing other countries as one region ... you can not blame these two moba giants only bcs they're that good.
