It is just a scrim but I can't say that it doesn't mean that it shows potential

Here's my take on it. I think Guard is getting a lot of flak for washing out of Masters that early; however, I still think they are an insane team and are still one of the best teams in NA currently. With that said, I personally don't think they are trying their best in scrims. Maybe they are maybe they aren't. As much as I want TSM to succeed and go on to win international LANs, it's hard to believe that they went from barely qualifying for Stage 2 with close games against Faze and 100T to pretty much steamrolling Guard. Here's where it get tricky though. Faze and 100T are both new teams in terms of roster so we don't know how they stand compared to Guard. Maybe they're better maybe they aren't. Either way, I think a lot of these teams show promise if they keep up their progression but it's still too early to say anything about how good these teams are until we got to the actual group stage competition and not just scrims and open qualifiers.
