I never really caught many B4 or Stars Horizon matches. Was pancada always this good as a supportive player, or is this the case of the players around him making him better? I have been really impressed with his and Less's impact in Reykjavik
washedaway [#4]I'd say it was the team + coach effect, LOUD put out a documentary on their road to Iceland and in there you can see how the coaching staff, psychologists, analysts and the team veterans were working on making the rookies better players.
does it have english subtitles i would like to watch
I've been following Less since he played for jaguares, and as I said six days ago: he's a monster and always saves his teams

Pancada as well. Last time they two saved Loud it was when they played against Liberty

Honestly, Loud didn't play this game well. They won because they took some pistol rounds and ecos, but in armed rounds they won just 16 while optic won 23. I don't know why this happened, maybe Sacy and Aspas were nervous because it was their first lan after a long time. But I hope they do better next round. Aspas acs dropped from 263 to 190 in this round.

i don't think they added subtitles
I don’t think he was ever in havan liberty, and to answer your question, both really, pancada has always had insane aim utility usage and teamplay but of course you’re not gonna shine playing controller in a region that gives almost 0 fucks to all of that, loud manage to realize the potential in him and put the guy in an environment that suits him better, they didn’t make him, they just better utilized him which in turn allows both pancada and the team as whole to perform much better
pANcada never played for Liberty, but yes, he was always a good player regionally. He started off as a duelist during the First Strike era (for B4), but when mazin left TERROR.NET (a free agent team both were part of), he moved to controller position and started to pop off in the position.
Here's him with a +21 KD on late August last year: https://www.vlr.gg/31351/stars-horizon-vs-jaguares-esports-champions-tour-brazil-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-uqf

Unfortunately no. You could turn on auto subtitles and translate them, though keep in mind a LOT would get lost in translation and the algorithm for portuguese autosubs is GARBAGE.
Here's the link if you still want to watch it anyway: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msKAiU_qE8Y

Can’t disagree, they won both pistols on ascent and icebox which was pretty much what gave em the edge in such a close match, their fracture was absolutely terrible and they just can’t get to fix that map+aspas and Sacy had very poor showings (most of aspas’s kills came from ecos)
It shows this team’s depth and potential after two different players managed to carry them when their star ones couldn’t, but I feel like the teams at this tournament are nowhere near the level we’re gonna be seeing for The rest of the year and if Loud wants to remain at the top, their obvious map pool weaknesses and this notion that the whole team can’t always perform at once is a deep concern
Less got top 1 in brazil ranked a couple acts ago, if i'm not mistaken he even got the top 1 global rank at some point. Though i never really thought of him as a prodigy and thought hiring him might not have been the wisest decision when Loud lineup got announced, he proved to be a glad surprise and is actually insane. Pancada was always one of the best controllers in Brazil along with maybe Belky, who played for Gamelanders and more recently for Stars Horizon, so yeah he was probably the best choice. My initial doubts were on Less, but damn is he good.
