Sacy MOBA player

Before, I had a certain suspicion of Sacy because he came from League of Legends, and not from an FPS. But today, seeing the level he's been reaching, I wonder... Is it precisely the fact that he comes from a MOBA that makes him so good at Valorant? I don't know, maybe game "intelligence", macrogame perception, good decision making. He doesn't make mistakes that most FPS Pros do, like going where you shouldn't go, not going where you should, spending resources that you shouldn't, spending resources at the right time. Are these things he brought from the MOBA, or would he be like this even if he had only played FPS in his life?

(I know that many FPS players already have these skills as well, and that these skills sound like obvious and mandatory. But I feel that many professionals still sin in this, especially in moments of tension)

Idk if this is a parameter, coz Sacy played fps his entire life (even being a moba ex-pro). Idk if he would have this aim playing moba only.

One of the great reasons that i see and people don't talk about It is that he worked up with Tockers in that Red Canids.
Tockers was one of the only players that got a way of teaching LoL efficiently about everything he knew in that time, something that Revolta failed to do in Vivo Keyd.

I'm pretty sure that being Tockers partner influenciated his way of thinking more than we Can ever understand.

Tockers was Very direct in his way of teaching, and i see that type of threatment as when in the documentary (Road to Iceland) he's putting pressure on Less to get better.

This type of thing is a Topic so great that i should do a thread on It.

Well... I think you didn't understand my question. I know he already played FPS casually, and that explains his aim. But the point is the "plus" he appears to have. I wonder if this "plus" that makes him a differentiated player comes from MOBA knowledge and concepts or his natural talent.

Sure, he got a good notion on how to play the map, rotations, cooldown management from his time on League. Sacy is an immense player

I think It really comes from Moba knowledge, even Aspas calls him mobinha, maybe the reason isn't Just his name sacymoba, but the fact that he used Moba exemplos when teaching about Valorant to his team.

In that way, gaining info(Wards/pinks = Alarmbot, Chamber bot). Gaining space in the map = conquesting territory.

This is one of the teorys i had.

Exactly what I meant. I'm getting more and more sure of that. He has a different game mentality. You never see him lose a round because of a wrong decision or a rush. He may even lose a round for losing an inevitable duel, but never for a wrong decision.

watch this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5hE1fnWGqY&ab_channel=COMBOPodcast really good vid

Saadhak mention something along the lines about the champions last year "We didn't understand why EU teams were beating us so much in scrims until sacy remembered a concept from league of legends and applied in valorant"

it has nothing to do with the type of game you play

when you have that experience competing at the highest level you master the ability to "improve" -- aka being able to critically analyze yourself, your opponents, understanding your strengths and weaknesses and how to build upon them, etc.

obviously you need mechanics but that's just a physical thing. the mentality is acquired playing any esport, sport, or competition in any form at the highest level. whether it's a Chess GM or a professional football player, they all have the mindset required to compete in anything, including a game like valorant
