you can believe whatever you want to fit the narrative of your choice lol. as an envy fan i literally saw how much people were gassing x10 up for eliminating them

obviously other factors are involved in the community's celebration of jp's success -- neth's crying interview, the passionate community, the fight they put up against gambit after getting demolished, they simply have had a storyline building up to this success and you're just seeing the fruits of it.
