FNC:Beat teams such as M3C and had a flawless run in group stage lost bit of that momentum after qualifying for Masters but looked strong however with Braveaf and Derke(not certain) substituted Masters is definitely looks tough for them
TL:Although they finished 4th place with FPX not being able to compete they will be replacing them they haven’t been looking impressive at all and are the weakest team out of the 3 EMEA teams (maybe better than fnatic due to their current situation)
G2:Had a bad start to the playoffs by losing to TL 1-2 but then destroyed every team in their way until the finals because of the FPX situation they will be 1st seed and have one of the biggest potentials to win this whole tournament
TGRD:fairly a new roster but currently the strongest team in Na coming to masters they destroyed Cloud9 and Sentinels their star player Trent is insane and the team has a huge potential to make NA top region again
OPTC:Nearly same skill level as The Guard but narrowly lost to them in the finals definitely a contender for the first spot in NA and could also could make NA top region again
LOUD:destroyed the whole BR region coming into Masters and honestly look pretty fucking strong they are levels ahead of the BR scene and definitely putting BR into the conversation with regions such as EMEA and NA huge potential to win Masters
KRU:Kru is still the best team in LATAM but their performance in LATAM playoffs was a bit shaky although its totally possible for them to repeat their success in Champions
NIP:destroyed LATAM second best team and looked strong in the playoffs but they still have some room for improvement to make but they can be a dark horse in this tournament
Rest of the regions I don’t watch or know enough to comment about so please add your take on them
Edit:PRX: Mechanically insane, f0rsaken and jiing are crazy good. They have awful defense and great attack (looks a bit like G2s attack with 5 man rushes and duelist go kill strat). could have an upset here and there, but idk. Definitely weakest of the 1st seeds.
XERXIA: old X10c core, sScary looking like one of the best controllers in the world rn, surf is insane but very inconsistent, sushiboys is consistently great at anchoring sites. One thing is they still kept playing astra in playoffs which honestly is pretty bad. This is surfs first tournament in his life so dont expect anything from this team. With time, they will be good enough.
