how they determine the 4 team in playoff?

is it based on the region performance in Champions last year where the only team in playoff is from NA , APAC, EMEA and LATAM. What happened if this year Champions event consist of more than 4 region in playoff? Would they change the format for next year master or what?

seems a bit wacky imo, what if 1 team region like kr or jp ended came up on top in this year champions, but their representative next year cannot get a pass to the playoff because they're not a region with more than 1 slot.

It's not the only criteria, because the winner of 2nd latam v 2nd br, also goes straight to a playoff, which I don't understand. Why not give that place to the only region that reached the semi-finals against EMEA last year?

if nip win the lcq loud goes to playoffs and if lev win kru go to the playoffs it would not be nip ore lev going to playoffs

yeah that's a lil bit weird too, why would the 2nd seed form br and latam have to determine the fate of the 1st seed team from their respective region, they just can give it to the latam as a token for being a top 3 region last year.

I guess spots were decided from 2021 champions playoffs
4 EMEA, 2 APAC, 1 NA, 1 LATAM
