the smell is so pungent. how do i get rid of the smell?

wash it in vinegar + baking soda then let dry out in rice.

Actually sulfuric acid does wonders for my mousepad

i bought that mousepad 1 time and it was not even smelling like shit, also it was rolled and hard to get normal. i am using artisan ninja fx zero xsoft i am rich

How does it perform tho sorry i have nothing to contribute to your smell problem.

The smell goes away after like a day or so

(useful answer) just wash it, its very normal. go search tutorial if u dont know how to > if u dont want to search > put it in a bathtub do normal warm water, and make the pad wet, than use liquid soap without perfume and put on it u cant do anything wrong.and rub it and than water and again again
