Group stages

With a good amount of the matches done in most regions, what do feel about the group stages? Do you have any takes on the format and do you have any opinions about some personal matchups or teams seen?

Imo, I was really surprised on NiP from BR playing so well in an objectively stronger group and was disappointed to see Rise perform so inconsistently in NA against some teams that they honestly shouldn't have lost to.

i like it, they're nice and they give us a good estimate on which teams are better and worse, makes predictions easier

I think group stage should be way shorter, maybe like EPL CS where they do the entire group in a week (So 2 weeks for both groups)

Make it shorter

Format is good. Length is good too. But teams ideally should use the time between matches to test more stuff out (maybe not as crazy as liquid tho) because I see slot of hard counters in matches lately because the other team knew exactly what the enemy was doing.

I like this group stage with its weekly matches format for sure, and teams/players also seems like it more since they have more time to develop their comps and counter strats against their opponents which is overall a good pace in developing the meta.
