I feel like they were overhyped. The fact that they lost 13-4 and 13-2 is concerning. Had they lost 13-8 or so i wouldnt be concerned but only 4 rounds against c9. Guard might not stand a chance internationally

Only show how strong C9 are (in NA), not Guard overrated, they are sill top 3-4 NA imo. And If you watch their match history , they lose 0-2 to XSET and then won next 2 matches. They learn from lost very fast

No doubt, EMEA is far ahead NA, I only talk about NA. Even C9 are best team in NA now, they still only be top 5 in EMEA imo

If The Guard manage to come back stronger after this loss then they'll really cement themselves as a T1 team. C9 isn't in the top 3 NA teams for nothing.

I mean liquid got destroyed by acend in champs but does that mean that liquid is overrated and trash? hell no

Every loss is a learning opportunity. C9 studied the hell out of The Guard and counterstratted them hard. Like s0v4k said, if The Guard can bounce back and become stronger then they are a team to be feared.

Plus this is a new meta, therefore new strats. It will take time to figure it out, but The Guard won't fall behind.
