APAC Playoffs Edition: Group B
Back at it again, with the grind. Exciting thread this time.
In this thread, I'll be writing a detailed and complete analysis of the teams in Group B of Apac Playoffs (Group Stage), based on recent performances. Opinions may differ.
Group B would probably be the crowd's favorites. Not gonna lie, I am excited to watch this group. A titan from MY/SG, stacked veterans from ID, and a streaker killer team from OCE. I'll tell you guys what I've found.

Paper Rex
I've met so many PRX fans so far, and I understand why they are that great. First place in MY/SG Stage 1 Challengers this year, 5 times champions in the region, without LOSING AFUCKINGMAP. I knew about this fact and yet this still blows my mind. Last year, they qualified for Master Berlin, however, didn't make it far. They also played in APAC LCQ while playing the new addition, Jinggg, to replace shiba. They managed to beat the Indian powerhouse, Global Esports, before having an upset against NORTHEPTION and DAMWON. Then, they also played in several tournaments (4th place in Royal SEA and won TEC Showdown).- f0rsakeN = Duelist. Young prodigy with the highest ACS in MY/SG, with 293.2 ACS. In last year's qualifiers, he has a 300.7 ACS. What else should I explain about this man????
- Jinggg = Flex. Newest member and also a young gifted player. Also has insane ACS (just look at his profile).
- d4v41 = Mixed role (Chamber or Initiators). A well-rounded player that has an aggressive playstyle, and is a dependable teammate.
- mindfreak = Controller. A smart and calm player who has been improving a lot lately.
- Benkai = Sentinel. Best troller from SEA and 5head entrances. A veteran with a lot of experience and is a perfect IGL for the team.
As I said, they haven't lost a single map this year. They have a 100% win rate in all maps (here). Also, they've been messing around with their agent comp lately (and It's funny because they still won either way).
I swear I'll be clenching my ass watching this team

BWL - now Persija Esports
Indonesia's one and only no org team (not anymore) that swept through ID Stage 1 Challengers, placing in second. They won against Alter Ego and ONIC, however, lost to BOOM in the GF. and It's amazing to see that they are more successful now, rather than back when they were still in Orgs. This is their first tournament together as a team, yet they look so strong. This is what happens when you put a bunch of veterans together.- Famouz = Flex/Duelist (and Chamber sometimes). He has the highest ACS in Indonesia, with 267.1 ACS. He's been playing so well this year and quite consistent.
- Flynch = Duelist. Well rounded player, however, not really consistent based on his recent matches.
- Asteriskk = Controller. As an experienced player, he is really smart and aggressive.
- Eeyore = Sentinel. He has been improving a lot lately, and really well-rounded.
- roseaufy = Initiator. A flexible player with a mixture of calm and aggressive playstyle. However, his ACS is lower compared to his teammates
Really strong in Bind, Icebox, and Ascent. Meanwhile, relatively weaker in Split (here). They often use a double duelist meta, however, they may use a different agent comp in the near future.
I honestly like this team, but it's unlucky that they got grouped with scary opponents

Bonkers
At this point, who doesn't know this team. The no org that won against the team with a cool logo and a crazy 22-win streak. I know I am wearing their flair, but I assure you that I'll only spit facts, no bias. This team is relatively new, however, they had competed in tournaments last year. This year, in the VOT, they managed to qualify for the group stage and showed a splendid performance. In the playoffs, even though they got to the lower bracket early, they managed to sweep through to the grand finals against ORDER. At that time, most people were sure that ORDER will win the tournament. In a surprising twist, Bonkers won (yay), deserving their spot in APAC Playoffs. Fyi, NiceHacks sadly couldn't secure a travel passport in time and the team will be using Nozz, as mentioned in here. Nozz will not be replacing NiceHacks' duelist role and the team will change some of their roles, so I cannot give much info about their meta.- Minimise = Dedicated player and IGL with huge potentials. a chad VLR.gg user if you ask me.
- tixx = As mentioned by skrawl, he is a well-performed player. A dependable player that his team can rely on.
- skrawl = Best Sova player in OCE (arguable). An experienced player with a lot of impact on the team.
- Nozz = I don't have much info about him. Based on some clips, he is pretty cracked.
- rDeeW = An OCE star player that strengthens the team. He is really flexible as he can play a lot of agents.
Out of all maps, Fracture is probably their weakest with only 43% win rate, and it's surprising to see that they've never played in Ascent nor Split in the VOT (here). They definitely have been using a wide variety of agents, but I wonder how will it be in the APAC Playoffs since they will change roles.
As a fan, I'm literally sweating because I might be wrong in some of the research (Forgive me for my preposterous behavior as a Bonkers fan)
And as usual, best of luck to all teams!
