I only play sova on ascent and I just copy what he does + some lineups from Snapiex. Got up to plat 3 doing that, after that it just wasn't enough

learn lineups, it doesnt have to be the most complicated and if you make your own its easier to remember
for your drone remember to call out stuff that is clear, and remember that you can use the drone dart twice
your recon scans people thats in its line of sight, so maybe you can find good recon spots by standing/flying somewhere and seeing what you can "scan"
for your ult just remember to move and that people will try to juke you

also always remember to not use the exact same shock/recon lineups for every single round, people will begin to expect them

sidenote im not much of a fan of using my recon at the exact start of the round in defence (in attack you shouldnt do it at all, wait until your team is going to enter) ive found out for my playstyle i feel more comfortable saving that recon for stalling/retake
