How will the group stage actually work out?

Will the group stage be a stage where every team gets to play against every team or will it be like the other tournaments where people will drop to a lower bracket when they lose until we have 8 remaining teams left?

everyone in the groups plays each other once over the course of 5 weeks, the best 4 teams from each group go to the next stage
