can anyone explain the na format for vct 2022 , what are both the challengers for????
chimpy [#2]First challenger only 4 teams move on. Second one 4 more teams I think
and then the 12 teams duke it out with league style play to determine masters representatives?
Almost same format as EU i think, 1st challenger for open quals which then turns into closed qual where couple teams are selected for main event, then 2nd challenger same thing as 1st, just repeating to get more teams for main event, only major diff between this and EU quals is its double elim from round of 32
1) Two Open Qualifiers decide 8 teams in total (4 teams from each) - Ro32 and above is double elimination
2) Round Robin Groups Stage: two groups of 6 teams (top 4 teams in each group advance)
3) Double elimination bracket (? teams advance to international stage)
C9, 100T, SEN, and NV are all already qualified for the Group Stage
PunisherXPR [#5]Just like any other region, the Challengers is to determine the teams that will play LAN at Masters. Also, there's only 1 Challengers for each stage. Stage 1 Challengers is to determine Masters 1 teams, Stage 2 Challengers is to determine Masters 2 teams.
Yes, you're right. The two above you are wrong, idk what they sayin.
AkamiRosario [#3]and then the 12 teams duke it out with league style play to determine masters representatives?
