Will the South Asian teams be able to participate in the Riot events?
Any status updates?
Tamag0 [#3]At least they will going to play at APAC tournament like OCE.
Wdym by Apac Tournament like Playing in Sea One or The full Apac Region one (SEA, JP ,KR)

Kinda, I assume that we will have an all-region APAC tournament for some extra spot.
"It also introduces more international pathways for Oceanic players to head overseas and compete in the APAC Playoffs, offering competitors the opportunity to qualify for the VALORANT Masters"

If it's going to be online
Then it will be at disadvantage for OCE teams correct me if I'm wrong
Tamag0 [#7]They can play from Singapore if they want, no quarantine required.
Or might be, Riot would actually held a LAN tournament.

They bolded that part. They have plans, but will it be the plan when the event actually comes?
UrNightmare [#9]If they don't give SA slots this year, then valorant will mostly likely become dead in the region.
true

They actually can try NBA bubble like
But it will obviously cost fortune

It kind was unfair for slot too
UrNightmare [#15]One slot is all we are asking for!!! U say that's unfair?
2 slots of SA for APAC
That's what I'm saying
ssw [#16]2 slots of SA for APAC
That's what I'm saying
why APAC? if you can get direct slot for masters.

I mean SA teams should perform better infront of SEA teams first
Why would you want to get asskick in masters directly

Let them get the much needed experience to play against top tier teams around the world.
Playing against same teams again and again won't help them at all.

yes giving slots to japan and korea IS FAIR

Everything can change in a second xD, but hopefully Riot would stick to their plans.
nyomski [#20]APAC Val twitter was just registered, so expect something coming soon and it looks like KR won’t be joining the APAC region. So it will be likely OCE + SEA + SA( unconfirmed).
Seems so, +JP also just announced that they got a direct spot to Masters without mentioning any APAC tournament.

ya and GE players are travelling to Singapore, so maybe it could be a part of some lan event for apac region

where did you get this piece of info from ? and when are they travelling ?

Not really even if we get to compete in SEA circuits...I think that's more than enough I guess..I don't think any of our teams are that strong to compete against international teams I could be wrong..it won't die that's for sure
