to be fair everyone on that team is supposedly a pretty decent midrounder so it should make up for verno’s inexperience as an igl
regardless they’re being overhyped when i don’t think they’ll do that much better than last year
I don't think so and IMO they are overrated if anything. First Mazino and Tex are decent, but nothing crazy. Verno still very inexperienced and has only had one good event as IGL. They shouldn't have even made it to Champs if it wasn't for the points system. Its way too early to say how he is going to do next year. Good individual, but IGLing is questionable still. I think he is in very similar spot as players like Cloud or Jamppi. Aspas is Aspas, but he was also on the team in Toronto and they looked like shit. Zekken is good but bit overrated. He is very good obviously, but especially on internationals he is completely comparable to other players in his role + he has to change role.
