> Said CS better than Valorant but need 3rd party to run the game 😄
> There's no app, games or tech without bugs, even in github you easily found hundred or thousand bugs on small project, imagine if it more complex.

Then why they slow fixing the bug?
Because limited source, you can't even fix all bugs in open source why you think they can fix all bugs in close source. A program like cheat is part of open bugs, if you think CS is better handling a bug than Valorant, then you missed one, they not even tried fixing 4x3.

Why are they not fixing the bug pros will use?

  1. This aint sorcery, they didn't know what bugs pros will use and that's why they have rulebook.

  2. Tester usually split bugs into categories like critical and non-critical, if critical they usually address it on Twitter, I assume this type of bug is non-critical, and they patch it slowly, because fixing bug ain't easily like you typing on your keyboard crying about bugs.

'Because limited source'
this shouldn't be an excuse. the real reason is: riot have more stuff to do and it'd be dumb to spend time fixing known bugs that won't affect ranked queue that much

Honestly this would be a reasonable take if it weren't for the fact the bug has been out for 7 months now, nearing 8. If its that critical of a bug that gives players an unfair advantage, especially in tournament play, its that critical to fix in a reasonable time frame. The first incident was with VGIA on July pretty sure, that gives Riot 5 months give or take to fix the bug.

What the team did was downright stupid but that doesn't excuse Riot's laziness surrounding this bug.

It takes long time to fix a single bug without open new bug.

I agree, however I'm pretty sure the placement bug is the cam allowed to be placed in an area that's out of bounds. Very little game-breaking new bugs if you patch that, compared to a bug which alters how the game functions.

I'll have group sex with the entire Sentinels roster after they beat Liquid 2-0, beat Vivo Keyd 2-0 for fun, beat Gambit 3-0 (they allowed an extra map because of the "jett" exploit), and beat my asscheeks 5-0.

After re-reading this, I've realized that I'm an idiot. This isn't even a hot take! It's destiny.

I believe they already have schedule for list of bug to fix, but bad timing made them look like they do nothing. idk tho, never have chance to work at riot. So don't know the culture, i just assume.
