What's the criteria for ascension other than qualifying for stage 2 playoffs?

are you forgetting riddle order players who shat the bed in 2023 dfm? boom only needs a change and they might regain their stage 1 form and if they dont change they better say goodbye, boom clearly have higher ceilings but lower floor
