This is so poorly planned by Riot, if they wished, they could've made a tournament with crowd in a country with less restrictions. They made a bad choice.

The location had to be decided on several months in advance, they did not know what the restrictions would be in Germany right now.

The original spot was LA but moved it to Germany. I think even before the recent Covid restrictions, there was going to be no crowd.

Exactly Larry, they never intended for it to have crowd! If they wanted they could've made it! Look at what CSGO did! 2.7 million people watching live, that's what crowds do. Now I'm afraid the viewership won't be highest as it should be, because of that stupid decision.

I mean viewership already ranked from Iceland. Iceland had 1 mil peak during the finals and Berlin was half of that. Valorant viewership is dependent on a few things. One of them is co streaming but the other is what teams are playing. If it’s sentinels in the finals the viewership should get a million. na vs eu générâtes the best viewership but I do agree with you. Crowd is better.

Well no you’re not entirely wrong. The peak viewership was 811,000. But just the finals viewership in general was almost half of the Iceland viewership finals.
