it should just be single elim, valorant should have at least one tournament without double elim, but of course Leo Faria would never change that

Yes single elimination for a high stake tournament is a must.
Many people in this site disagree with it, but single elim + bo5 will bring more hype.

less games, more fatigue for players ...makes final looks like a glorified B05 not a grand final

OBV there would be a break between semifinals and grand final, like how u have it in league.

it is the burnout players might feel...playing back to back to back B05 should be tiring

the issue is we might get best 2 teams facing each other and worst 2 each other...

this was already seen at Toronto

that will make most finals less interesting than some matches

but for Master 1 when 4 teams are in playoffs that makes it better I think( but that makes the event even shorter )

for 8 teams playoffs that is not a good one

what I would like is champs 16 teams swiss( like CS2 major and that would make single elim playoffs the best

yea they should just remove this 1st seed bs and make everyone start from swiss then single elim bo5 every game for playoffs

I hate single elim one bad day and you’re fked
