I was going through Asuna's player profile and found he played a couple games in the NSG tourney for "actually homeless", went to soulcas's profile too and he does the same for a roster called "unsigned", is there a reason pro's do this?

Because t1 teams only play like every 3 months since rito is slacking on the non-VCT tournaments

^ + its fun and you learn a lot of things playing in tournaments where there is something on the line
Since the teams are unsigned they don't get paid so must be just for fun and experience. Being able to play with your friends in a tournaments like these must be refreshing for pros like Asuna.
Because there is some rule made by rito that Big team like 100t , sentinel and other cant participate in tier1-2 tournament + They act as filler player
I’m actually concerned why scourge was playing with the likes of “Asuna” anyways, scourge is leagues above asuna
