upgrade to 5600x if you want 300fps+

then i would upgrade because anyways the return you will make from crypto/stocks with the amount of money for a cpu might not be that much unless u invest in a really good coin/stock that somehow 2x quickly

if ur uni course is anything related to computers then itll serve great for you for the coming 5-7 years, it has value even if you stop playing valorant.
