Is riot giving tournaments mvps based on ACS?

Rewatched some Bangkok and champs 2024 games. I have absolutely no fucking idea how meteor got mvp over izu, or even buzz. Chichoo also was way better than kk for 70% of champs but at least that one is mildly justifiable. How does riot choose tournament mvps? It’s almost looks random

Atp it's narrative driven or duelist bias then again acs already is both of these typically, I don't think Meteor should have had the mvp either idk how he got it

For context, meteor had a 1.04 rating and a 1.09 kd. Izu played 3 different roles and has a 1.13 rating and a 1.24 kd . Buzz also had a 1.08 rating and a 1.12 kd, but to be fair he played quite poorly in the finals

Recency bias ig, who was better at finals

It’s a vote so the voters usually pick the flashiest name

Kangkang did not deserve mvp either but he’s the biggest name + duelist + the vote is right after final in which he farmed
