are real life sniper rifles similar to operator in valo in terms of recoil
like can someone get two consecutive shots on different targets
a real life sniper is usually placed in some kind of hidden area with stands, and the sniper watches the same area for hours to even days for a shot
its risky to shoot because enemy troops can hear you so they mostly target high value people like officials
and once they shoot they pack it up and run to another place to try and get another shot
ideally you'd be too far for three guys to run at you with an ak, but you usually have a homie or two helping you. if you see 3 guys through your scope, then they're definitely far enough to be taken out. if your homie tells you that there's guys pulling up, you either dip and leave the sniper or take the sniper if you think they dont know where you are.
Depends what consecutive means in this context. But they could even though its risky and can be hard if long distances or otherwise bad weather etc. and targets aren't close to each other, because they would have to re-calculate trajectory. Overall sniper rifle recoil isn't really a problem as they are pretty much always supported by bipods or similar and snipers always have time to find good support for the rifle before shooting. And one thing games never get right is that in real life you always want to lean your gun onto something if possible to help with sway and recoil. You don't just run around and shoot standing up unless its only option.
