Do you guys think that qualification games for internationals should be bo5? It’s not a completely new idea as the 2023 Chinese champs qualifier used bo5 for the entire top 8 bracket.
Pros:
Creates more hype and memorable series
Rewards teams with good map pool
Harder to fluke a bo5 win compared to bo3
More valorant for fans (alternative to more games)
Cons:
Costs more
1 game days potentially during playoffs
All teams show more meaning anti strats become more important
Teams that struggle with stamina are punished
