BR's Tournament Structures

Why are they so different? Through out the year I was seeing a lot of best of 1s and in the lcq had a random group stage. What kind of shenanigans are going on over there?

unlike NA and EMEA, since stage 1, Riot Brazil never changed to a better tournament format , so outside of challengers finals the rest of the format sucked.

I thought LCQ was fine because is similar format of Masters Berlin (probably Champions format).

That's really odd. I wonder of the BO1s effected things probably not too much but who knows.
