Gonna rank every single vct team using a system of their potential + preformance during Bangkok and kickoff, I will rate them out of 100 using categories like potential, disclose, teamplay, etc and combine it all to get an overall starting with Americas
G2: I rate them a 94 ovr the only reason it’s not a perfect 100 is because they looked shaky during kickoff and group stage Bangkok, but they are easily a top 3 team right now though
Sen: I rate them 82 ovr because I know they have high potential but they played mid all through kickoff/Bangkok apart from the mibr and g2 games, they have a high ceiling that could get them top 4 at events but I don’t see them winning
Mibr: I think an 80 is solid, they have good potential if they figure out chemistry and they had a good kickoff run, i feel like they can make champs but majority of their kickoff run was just from aspas carrying so if i removed potential they are like 73 ovr
Kru: i would give them an 84 ovr, i think they have really high potential because we've seen them make runs before, at kickoff they played poorly and just got diffed by aspas but i always will trust them to win some games
Loud: 79, i see them getting upsets but i dont think they have alot of potential to make international but they did play VERY well in every game up until mibr, by preformance alone i rate them high but I don't see the potential
Lev: 78 same with Loud but i think they are worse as a team, they didnt play very well but they do have way more potential than Loud and with rossy i wouldnt be surprised if we see them at an event soon
Nrg: 81 The potential on this team carries my ranking ALOT, if you take away potential they are like a 68-71 ovr to me, i imagine we will see them in playoffs bare minimum and their ceiling is top 4 at a event
Eg: 76 ovr, they played okay and they have an okay amount of potential
100T: I think this team has so much way more potential than they showed and their ceiling is way higher than last year, im comfortable giving them a a solid 83 ovr because i know this team can be really good but they had a poor showing at kickoff, this ranking is carried by potential.
Cloud 9: as much as this team trolls they have high potential and will always be a real threat come regular season, i give them a 80 ovr because they have some peices of a international team in oxy and v1c but the rest of the team is okay..
furia: not much to say about them ngl, 71 ovr i dont see them doing anything regionally
2g: 60 ovr, no words needed until they get spike
EMEA
Vitality: they get a 91 ovr, they played really good at kickoff and swiss stage but playoffs they looked really disconnected. their potential is the best team in the world so i have high hopes for this team.
Liquid: they pushed vitality to 5 maps and did win a game in bangkok as underdogs in every series they played, their potential is top 6 at a internationals and they did way better than everyone imagined they would, easily a 86 ovr.
heretics: i would also give them a 86 ovr because even though they played bad against liquid, their potential is winning events, they played out of form and it was unfortunate it was during their most important game.
Fut: this team is constantly hyped as a world class team and always fall short of expectations, it would be unfair for me to give them anything less than 80 though so i think like an 82 is fair because we've seen them do good before.
Fnatic: i put them at a 90 ovr, this might seem controversial but i dont really care abt their kickoff because they played with a sub and Leo is top 3 in the world at his best, they played poorly but the potential on this team gives me hope.
BBL: i dont know much about how they preformed i didnt watch games but based on results i would have them at a 79, they had okay results and im sure they could upset some teams
giantx: they have a pretty high ceiling but they played pretty bad at kickoff, i give them a 78
gentle mates: they have high potential and i wouldnt be surprised if they qualified for champs, with that being said they didnt do very good and played at around a 74 ovr level
Kc: they have potential as a top 3 team in Emea but they fell short, their match against vitality was very good and showed they can be great but they sold against giantx. i give them an 80 because of their potential
Navi: they are one of the weirdest formed teams ive ever seen, i dont see them doing much though, 76 ovr
KOI: 72 ovr they could probably beat a team like gentle mates or giantx but thats not that much of an accomplishment
Apeks: 68 ovr worst team in emea by far, flor is the only hope
CHINA
EDG: 94 ovr, their ceiling is best team in the world and if they had kept their form against T1 they probably could have won the event, but thats their problem
Trace: 85 ovr, they have potential to make top 6 and upset teams but they keep falling short, they are easily the second best china team though
BLG: 80 ovr, they showed they are a good team during kickoff and we will definetly see them at events later in the future, maybe even toronto.
DRG: i dont know how to rank this team, sometimes they do really good and other times they do bad, 78 ovr they beat a trolling fpx team
FPX: although they didnt have that great of a showing we've seen them be amazing before, they have a high ceiling but they fell short when, idk what their doing with their comps but if they stopped trolling i would put them higher than trace but until they stop they are worse. 81 ovr
XI Lai: i dont know much about this team but judging from results they seem like a middle of the pack team with some potential, if they made champs i wouldnt be shocked and getting 5-6th as an ascensipn team is impressive. 79 ovr
Nova: ive seen alot of talk about them lately and people have said they are good so i would give them a 79 ovr based on potential alone.
Jdg: i dont know much if anything at all about the next chinese teams so i will just rank them by preformance. 76 ovr
All gamers: 75 ovr
TEC: 75 ovr, they have Rb
Tyloo: 74 ovr
Wolves: I know more about wolves but im scared to by into hype, they could be good but probably not. 78 ovr
Pacific
T1: They are the best team in the world and this should be undisputed, they have the clutch capability, strategic capabilty and they just won bangkok, only reason they arent 99 or 100 is because they looked shaky until drx game.
Drx: they played really well at bangkok and they couldve made playoffs, its unlucky they played the only team at the event that could antistrat them, they also trolled the map veto, in another world they are top 4. easy 91 ovr.
Geng: they were 1 round away from making bangkok and they are the best 3rd team in the world by far and played good. they have event winning potential with their core. 90 ovr
Talon: with their new changes i think they should solidify themselves as top 5 in the region, 86 ovr
NongShim: While i personally arent very high on this team , i cant deny how good they are what their potential is. 85 ovr
DFM: this is looking like a good year for them and i have them at a 81 ovr, im predicting playoffs for them every stage but i think pacific is too stacked for them to make events.
Prx: the potential this team has is to win events but they look so bad, everytime theres a little bit of hope for them they throw it away. 80 ovr
RRQ: I see alot of potential with this team and if they made champs i wouldnt be too shocked, i would give them a 80 ovr
TS: theres potential with this team but the region is too stacked for me to consider them making events 78 ovr
Boom: 77 ovr, i think they got unlcuky with the draw ngl but they made the most of what they could.
Zeta: 76 ovr, good young players but i dont see it
Ge: i see potential but they have alot to prove, 79 ovr
