Please don’t rob this mf of his mvp this time, champs was already a generational performance from him
Yistyy [#2]But kangkang's aura tho. Mvp voters love aura.
I was so pissed when he won champs mvp Ngl
FMvps and MVP are not the same thing but people don’t seem to understand
Anzaldinho [#3]chichoo was always edg's best player since east asia lcq 2022
my brother was always lowkey with it now people finally see my vision
Kang kang is arguably their most consistent player but chichoo is usually better in international events
Uncleben [#7]Kang kang is arguably their most consistent player but chichoo is usually better in international events
kangkang ain't dropping 100 whatever kills in that bo5 without smoggy and chichoo on the team if you ask me
alchemy02 [#5]The first time wasn't a robbery lol, but this time would be a crime ngl.
I think kk was fmvp and chichoo was tournament mvp
There isn’t a good argument for kk winning overall mvp
glittering_yard [#8]KK will rob him again because of 1 series
Can’t wait for kk to aurafarm his way into another mvp, like when people were saying Aspas shoulda been champs mvp over sacy less or pancada
Anzaldinho [#9]kangkang ain't dropping 100 whatever kills in that bo5 without smoggy and chichoo on the team if you ask me
He ain’t even getting to the finals without smoggy and Chichoo low key carrying him there
Uncleben [#12]He ain’t even getting to the finals without smoggy and Chichoo low key carrying him there
exactly what I'm saying

The official MVP of Champions 2022 was also Aspas lol. Riot votes for Aura, they dont care about stats

So fucking stupid, champs 2022 was literally his worst tournament 😂 arguably
Pancada was the overall mvp and I think sacy shoulda been fmvp

The problem is that at that time a lot of the International community were somehow still not familiar with LOUD with aspas as their most popular player, and even to this day its hard to name the "Top 3 Pancada plays at Champions 2022" as he didnt have memorable moments and was mostly just trading and closing random rounds.
But Aspas in the Grand Finals alone had more memorable moments than most players in their entire careers:
Blind Knife kill on Marved on Ascent
1v4 13 seconds left on Bind
Collateral + Flick on Breeze
3k on Marved, Prime Chamber Yay and Crashies at 11-12 on Breeze
I think Grand Finals impact is almost everything to win the MVP award, so if Chichoo plays mid at GF even while carrying the whole team for 95% of the event but KK aura farms, it will probably go to KK

I’m not saying Aspas didn’t have impact, but pancada was most consistent, and he put up huge performances in the upper finals vs optic and first rd playoffs when they came back vs Leviatan, both crucial games
Then you had sacy dropped like 35 in the first map of grand finals when they had to come back a 12-9 score
I think part of the reason Aspas won mvp and got glazed was he was historically LOUDS best player, even if he wasn’t at that event
Also I feel duelists will always be more setup to make flashy plays
