this is the last year that all the franchise teams have on their current franchise contracts. at the end of this year (or maybe next year) riot reviews each team and decides who stays and who goes right? or am i being crazy

if im right, who do you see being removed from each region?

americas: LEV or C9 out, G2 and another LATAM team in
cn: AG out, i dunno, they've made the least amount of impact on the region both performance and prescence wise, probs add Rare Atom
emea: im not sure who you kick out here, but I would add Apeks in as a franchise team due to their commitment to the game
pacific: GE out, im not sure what their social media prescence is like in india, but ik there are alot of indian orgs with indian talent that would be better for the representation of the region.

it was 4 years, u can search it up, but i didn't know how it was counted. I mean some peoples said it was until end of 2027 (2023+4 = 2027) while some people said it was until 2026 (2023,2024,2025,2026). But yeah cmiiw but it's between at the end of 2026/2027 not 2025

more importantly i just want an indian org that invest in indian talent. i genuinely think the indian player scene is such an untapped market that with some care and training could compete pretty well

#19

i mean if the indian players dont do well at least they develop

GE actually have an full indian academy team and will be hosting a Academy Tourney with the RRQ and DRX academy team very soon, i think theyre trying to get better

A thing to note is that's only because riot incentivized them to, in addition, a portion of Indian fans are pissed at GE so this is probably to appease the fans.

If riot didn't provide an incentive they won't be proactive enough to start their own academy team.

Welp, an academy team is still an acady team tho

thats true i mean GE has been trying, they hosted couple of tournements and games themselves aswell as the owner watchpartying the games, i think there r worst orgs also the indian talent is simply not good enough atm and i think GE would rather try to win then stay bottom and have indian players, and they completely revamped their rosters and staff multiple time alr

Naah bro who said that , if they were rich they would always keep in valorant but they constantly pull out unless they get a complete roster

emea would need a german org for some german representation, we have incredible orgs: Fokus, been here forever, biggest german fan scene, most successful and wealthiest german org, been in T1 before franchise and invested alot in Valorant aswell as having an ascension contending squad rn, Mouz, same as Fokus, huge success in CS and have incredible scouting talent which could bring more german talents to T1, Eintrach Fokus, huge org, very wealthy org, could build incredible teams, have the most successful full german player team in history of Val, CGN, been here for many years, had the one and only Benny on Phoenix, huge and very active fan scene, SK, been only here for 1 year but is very wealthy and is in LoL in the emea league and many more orgs

i definately wouldnt mind a fokus or mouz. i just dont know the emea scene that well, i wouldnt know exactly who to kick to make room, cause Apeks would definately be on riots list as the first team to sign in as a replacement i feel like due to their commitment

Apeks is an ascension team they would be gone in 1 year if they don't qualify to champs playoff iirc.

Imo kick one of the orgs that import NA players, to serve as a warning message to other orgs

yeah which sucks (i personally think qualification to any international event should secure a second year in tier 1) but even in tier 2 apeks showed alot of commitment to the scene, made lots of content and are willing to train new talent

thats the thing, all orgs kinda try to invest rn, the teams that got bad results invested in academy teams (KOI and TL) and the other invested in Players or got good results
only i could maybe think off could be GX or maybe Koi or BBL but tbh i dont see any of them leaving

#13

my best bet would be remove GX (have had the least impact imo on the emea scene) and maybe KOI just due to finances (im not sure how much theyve gotten better or worse since last year though, i heard they arent in the best spot)

#15

yeah that would make sense

GX have a main team, GC team and a affiliation in terms of investing theyre doing well no chance theyre getting booted

If I would do emea:

Keep: Fnatic, KC, Koi, Liquid, Navi, Fut, Heretics, Vitality
New Partner: M8, Fokus/BBL
Guest Slots: Fokus/BBL, Apeks

Gentle Mates seem like an obvious addition to the partnership program, invested in tier 2 and have great viewership.
I could see them keeping 2 turkish orgs because of how big the turkish market can be, although BBL have had some issues.

love that idea and Fokus is the best T2 org in emea also while having the largest german fanbase aswell as the biggest german val content creator

EMEA im pretty sure no one gets replaced unless they leave out of their own will. Thing is EMEA has too many good orgs outside of franchising deserving of a spot in franchising.

They are 100% going to try to get one of the big CIS orgs, Spirit or VP

Russian orgs have no chance for now. Maybe in the future.

spirit are serbian (hq in belgrade), virtus pro is in armenia. Probably way easier to get spirit cuz they are against the war publically

they r not getting a cis org theres a way higher chance they will take a german org (Fokus, Mouz, SGE,...)

praying that Lev gets booted....Riot picked you as a LATAM contender, not so you could finance another year of C0m in franchising

#29

Not how it works, also LEV had the second most sold bundle in Americas last year only behind SEN

#30
LocoMonteiro

90% of LEVs sales were because it was by far the best looking bundle and because of aspas.... you could make a case Lev are the team with the least fans in americas, the fans they did have 1/2 years ago, all root for Kru now

you could make a case Lev are the team with the least fans in americas

No, no you can't

the fans they did have 1/2 years ago, all root for Kru now

Lev still has a shit tone of fans, a LATAM fan will 90% of the time support LEV if they're not playing KRU

#38
LocoMonteiro

2G, Furia, Loud and MIBR are all brazilian so they automatically have more support than LEV
100T, Sentinels, NRG and G2 all have huge NA followings and even C9 despite not being as big in terms of NA following is still a very popular org because of their history in other games
Kru literally has all the Latam following
The only team you can make a case for being less popular than LEV is EG which still very much proves my point

And the 2nd statement is just flat out wrong, everytime i see a kru fan on social media talk about LEV, they are trashing them for becoming an NA team despite all the LATAM talent

#39

So LEV managed to sell more bundles than the other 10 teams because their logo is cool? People were just buying it even though they don't like LEV. Or maybe it's that LATAM fans have more money and they can afford it, which one do you think it is? Okay brother, whatever you wanna believe

It isn't the last year, you're probably confused cause it's till 2026, but it's until the off season of 2026, so this year and 1 more

It was 4 years, we're in the begging of the third

GE is the only sensible org in India for PC eSports and maybe VLT but they too seem to just pull out of vct a lot , other orgs are looking good to you because they started with an outburst of money and used that to keep themselves alive however that money ran out now and so they pulled out of valorant atleast temporarily, ge is the only sustainable org that is into pc gaming right now in India , the other good orgs are in primarily mobile gaming which the entire country is a big fan of and there's a chance so the pc valorant part won't get good attention from them also did i mention the only sensible fan base in Indian orgs belongs to GE, other orgs fanbase ( a lot of them) are extremely toxic and just blockheads who think they know about eSports tho they dont

Indian valorant has no future in franchising sadly

When there's one indian playing 12 hours a day, there's 5 korean playing 12 hours a day

No commitment, they want an easy life playing a game for a living that's why they lack passion as well
