G2 needs to win a title, doesn't matter which one is it. I think winning something could help the players get used to know how to play finals and important matches. I think that could help them.

yea they def want the trophy/title considering valyn on twitter last year specifically said it was disappointing losing to both REGIONAL grand finals
not saying that matters tho, but g2 definitely care about this match

eg did this last year in champs where they picked ascent, which was LOUDS best map pick. loud were forced to pick another map which EG were good at, which was lotus. and EG won
in this case, g2 picked split to mess with sens picks. they had to pick pearl/fracture (they arent picking abyss lol) which g2 were good at
