i saw lots of korean playing in vcj or japanese team like dfm but literally nobody is in korean team. even t2 teams.
is it more difficult to learn korean as japanese speaker than learning japanese as korean?

Because korea does not need to import talent + its already hard to get a spot on a tier 1 korean now
KR orgs pay shit wages. Nowadays it's way too easy to get into a jp team. Just put " learning Japanese" on your LFT page and you're bound for one in weeks. God I wish I can meet head of VCJ for once, this shit is getting outta control
there's been only one non-Korean player in the history of LCK(Korean LoL League)
Koreans make accent on developing their own, homegrown talent instead of bringing imports from other countries
also, their talent pool is insane and they have a lot of upcoming youngsters who need to get a chance
Split 3
yotaa
yoshii
adrnking
EJAY
Tenzou
Prior to split 1
yoshii
anthem
Medusa

LOB
Split 1

Medusa
Zepher
LOB
LOB, Medusa and Anthem are pretty solid pickups for tier-2 tbh
What do you think about their chances of winning the Split?
Historically, there have been more rumors and links to imports in the LCK than you might think. Teams just didn't do it because they concluded that it was more likely to lose.
I don't remember that many rumors about imports in LCK, can you tell me about some of them?
Almost all attempts are on fearx. jojopyun's rumors were the most famous, but they considered importing almost every year. upset, mikyx, caps, jankos, and more. afreeca has also made a call to perkz at one point. Rumors only, except the cases like malice, rekkless, etc. that actually made it to CL.
doublelift, froggen also played in Korea in 2012 as an invitational team. Although it wasn't the LCK then.
t2 scene have too good of salary why going outside the box when you can paycheck stealing
That only applies to orgs like Fennel and Scarz.
Mid to low orgs pay low wages.
Salaries are steady, but not ridiculously high. The minimum wage at VCT Pacific is close to the highest wage you can earn in Japan.
This is just imports in general tbh
Why import if your own talent pool is good
Same anywhere else.
That line of thinking is taking shortcuts which harms the scene imo, How do you expect the scene to grow when even the orgs themselves are taking shortcuts. They need to go through the process of developing their players ON THE FIELD, developing them in "academy teams" just won't do it.
