last International major was in decembre 2019
the next one is gonna be in decembre this year. so after 2 complete years international competition is back + 2 more regions and indian servers. the esports is gonna be booming and is also a part of the Olympic games + will switch to Unreal Engine 5 so that will bring a lot of hype especially if a creative mode is coming aswell. I guess it will switch to UE5 prior to the 2022 finals and bring even more hype
