What we have learned:
Gen. G, DRX and Paper Rex are all completely even

Other good teams like: RRQ, T1 and maybe even TS haven’t really proven themselves

Brother we haven't even see this new iteration of T1 against GenG, DRX and Paper Rex. lmao

how has drx proven themselves but t1 hasn't

sounds like biassss

pre-season is basically just scrims with casters, the only proven team in APAC is PRX, the rest will have to show up in league

That’s what I said, T1 hasn’t proven anything until they played against the big 3

geng, prx, drx, t1 are very strong
talon is quite underrated
rrq, dfm are decent
zeta, boom, ge are “alright” (but too early to say for sure)
ts and spg are unknown for now

you do understand that t1 beat g2, better accomplishment than any other apac team in offseason? even if you wanna say offseason matters, t1 has had the better offseason lmfao

honestly atm geng looks like they fell off a bit. foxy9 from meteor was too big of a downgrade to replace. T1 looks good but they are not as good as peak geng 2024 imo. DRX is decent for now but their success depends on hyunmin performing. T1 has a lot of good players but idk about sylvan i think he might hold this team back.

G2 also lost to C9. idk what to think anymore.

g2 lost 9-26 to cloud 9

G2 are definitely a good team, but it’s clear that RBHG is a scuffed tournament

I disagree with the hyunmin take

free1ng, Flashback have even more pop-off potential imo

Athan i’m not sure about but i’m sure he has, since he overall consistent.

a top tier team has to be firing on all cylinders. if any of the players are holding back, then this iteration might meet the same fate as previous versions of DRX. valorant is a 5v5 game where all the players, especially the duelist, need to be doing their job. and hyunmins job is to look for the opening and that first duel, and win it more of the time than not. he is still very good, but for DRX to take the title of best in the region or to be a contender for a masters or champions, i still think that i need to see more from hyunmin.

yeah after properly watching the geng game i understand why you would say that. i still think athan just had a bad day today, but the rest of his team stepped up. hyunmin does look very good in this match though so i might have been wrong.

it was really only 1 bad map, other 2 maps were fine.

regardless, he still had a lot of multi kills that basically won rounds for DRX

APAC seems to be stacked for next year gen, prx, drx, t1 all look good and other teams like tln, dfm, rrq, spg, bme and ge all have potential we haven't seen ts yet and zeta seems to be the only meh team
