Aspas kinda overrated

Im not saying aspas is bad, in fact he is insane. But people have been talking about him currently like he is the absolute Goat which he def has the potenitial to achieve but i don't hes quite there yet. The hype he's getting would make more sense if he had the form that he had in 2023 but not for 2024. Id like to know what you guys think, even if its completely against me

yeah that is true, still a legend of the game no matter what. Pretty interested in seeing what LEV will do with Demon1 considering his as much purely duelist oriented as aspas

I kind of get where you're coming from. But you can't go out saying he's overrated. Cause he dropped 47 (kill record) this year on a Championship winning SEN. So, he has done a lot this year as well. And you can't deny that there's no duelist as consistent as him at the level that he is playing. Also top 3 Champions finish this year.
But I agree he might not be the absolute GOAT at this point in time. Still, never say ASPAS OVERRATED, cause he's not.

I think by definition he's overrated because people rate him as "the best in the world", "the greatest of all time" when he is (in my eyes) neither.

he is insane, he did drop 47 in one map, but he isn't not "the greatest of all time", hence why people think he's overrated (even if by a smidge)

Not at this point no. But that also goes to show the volatile nature of Valorant. But you gotta understand thats what's earned him the title of GOAT is not because he's so consistent since the beginning of Valo and is still up there. Also, I think if we still check stats, we''ll find he has definitely put amazing numbers.

I definitely see where you're coming from, and I agree to an extent. He did and still does put up numbers that are absurd. but I still think he is a bit overrated. imo he doesn't deserve to be put in "best in the world" convos anymore

finding a "GOAT" for Valorant is not possible in my eyes. With all the metas, introduction of the partnership system, Esports Winter, only 3 internationals and all of that, it's hard to see players be good across multiple metas (there are outliers and sure, aspas is one of them)

I think the best we can do is have a "best player of the year" and maybe down the line we can try and name a Valorant GOAT but as of right now, I don't have one

(but Boaster is MY GOAT)

He's the goat because everything he has achieved so far, every team he goes its team perfoms very well with him being mvp, so consistent u know , you'll see it better next year with this new mibr roster
