yeah i played tfs and had a blast, didnt touch the first episode and I am now I am going through my backlog of content to fill out my shopping list, for some reason getting a red border aberrant action and playing through the first episode in one shot was really fun and now I am prepping to do a solo vespers host

Destiny 2 is great, but haven't played it in few months (800hours on PC). Part of me would want to get back to it, but there really isn't much to be excited of IMO. Got rid of yearly expansions, so there's nothing to look forward to or good time to come back because I'm not a fan of the episode model. Also considering that feels like they are just firing people and the playerbase feels like constantly going down it feels like a dying game and without expansions it doesn't have chances to go upward trending. Feels bit pointless even if I really like the game and universe.

also so much is locked behind if you are a solo player and not that into joining clans and playing raids and dungeons with randoms

destiny 1 was peak..genuinely some of the most fun I've ever had gaming, but once destiny 2 came out it went downhill so fast and so hard and they made it so unfun and repetitive

i feel like you need friends that play the game to give a shit, i used to play it for pvp but now that bungie killed it and all of my friends moved to val and ow all i got is solo dungeons. its a shame that the franchise is being driven in to the ground by incompetent leadership

I went though a similar phase with that game years ago. but I haven't played in a while and I found it really hard to get back into.

Yeah with people its fun, but like myself I mostly played solo outside of joining discords to play raids sometimes. And like I added the game is so dependent on having people to play with. Raids are impossible solo and dungeons and even some exotic quests are really hard solo. Also I always struggle getting myself to play with randoms, because often you need decent communication and one guy can fuck up whole encounters, and can take long to finish raids etc.

yeah thats another problem, its impossible to get my friends back in to it or some to try just because of the cost and horrid starting experience, understand why you cant get yourself to play it anymore
