Listen I know it is just the off season but I am not excited for this Flashback move to flex/initiator. I mean the guy's playstyle fits sentinel so well and the way he takes duels is suited for re-aggression so if they can make it work then sure go for it but I would love to hear other opinions on the matter considering they have only played 3 games and all looks below good in terms of potential. (At least in my super unprofessional opinion which is usually wrong.)

yeah i don’t know about the move either. i don’t want to see drx tank flashback’s stocks this hard after he had such an impressive rookie year, no matter how cracked freeing is (he is insane)

I think, Flashback showed that he’s capable of playing other roles when they experimented with him a bit in stage 2.

Athan, performed like he wasn’t even a rookie, rarely if ever making a bad decision, reminds me of Karon in the way he doesn’t even look like a rookie despite being a player that hasn’t even player tier 2 val officially yet. Athan is also a duelist main, so i think they thought it would be too drastic of a change to go from duelist to scan.

Freeing has only ever played anchor roles , and possibly just as if not an every better aimer that flashback

Flashback just needs more time on the role imo. Also, we have only ever seen him on two maps so far, so a judgement this early wouldn’t be accurate. I’d say you can actually make a solid judgement when DRX plays in the asian invitational in late november

wouldn’t it be best to just do it now tho. It’s not like vct is starting soon anyways

I see your point, honestly I just had a gut feeling and I wanted to get some opinions on the matter. I forgot there is a late november event so that'll be good to watch! Personally I just want my favorite teams to do well this year, DRX has been on my radar this year after they dropped their original core so I think I am just sad to see what was a considerably good group of players get separated from each other. I wish them all the best!
