Ok, geographically speaking obviously Russia is part of Europe. But literally ALL of the players on Gambit are russians, no mix. Therefore they don't represent all of their continent, they only represent their country. Just like Brazil is in LATAM and doesn't represent LATAM.

example: G2 represents Europe because all of the players have different nationalities of european countries, same with Acend. Not the case with Gambit.

Finally someone with a brain. Mexico is geographically in NA but is part of the LATAM region. Russia is geographically Europe but is part of the CIS (and EMEA) region. It really has nothing at all to do with geography.
