BLEED Players

Shouldn’t the Bleed players be given the chance to look for another org like The Guard last year? Or if Riot is going to let Boom into franchise, they should be picking up the Bleed core.

Isn’t it unfair to allow the team that lost in the finals into franchise over the team that won fair and square last year?

I mean difference is that guard kept 4 of their players, bleed was an absolute mess basically only keeping 2/5 players from that original ascension roster

Well Bleed didn’t have a choice as Juicy was underage and Neph has military (though he got exempt). Crazyguy played during Kickoff so Bleed still had the core 3/5 in the beginning

Still doesn't excuse the fact they kicked Egoist after the kickoff tournament, pure greed from their owner

What does Egoist have to do with this situation? Yes, Bleed is a shitty org. But the players are innocent, they should get the chance to find another org.

That doesn’t justify allowing the Boom players into franchise over the 2/5. Sscary and crazyguy won Ascension fair and square. The Boom players had their chances and tossed it

I am talking about the organization. bleed only want to keep 2/5 their ascension players meanwhile the other 3 isnt there anymore. The Spot arent given to "the orgs". Riot giving the spot because the roster performance just like guard and g2. I feel bad for the players like sscary he is top tier smoker but bleed core who won ascension already gone. plus bleed as organization are just dogshit. Imagine you and ur friends become a champion but the orgs choose to reward only for 2 players and left the others

@natshuba (boom owner) mentioned that keeping roster for a while after ascension is standard practice (riot also asked them to do that last year even though they were 3rd-4th), just in case the winner doesn't pass the inspections.

I think Riot is also leaning towards Boom as an organization to become one of the partnered teams. Besides their 2nd-place finish, maybe with the redraw of the 2027 franchise teams, Riot will pick Boom as one of the partnered teams.

they’re UFA now

If that’s the case, then its even better as they aren’t contracted to Bleed. Riot should be allowing them to find another org or Boom should be picking them up since they’re UFA now

Booms players were 3 rounds away from making ascension and 00.05s away from bringing it back, also they would have played in split 3 so they’re keeping their ascension roster

They still lost at the end of the day. Who cares if they were 3 rounds or 0.05s away? We could also say they were 1 round away from getting 3-0ed.

Yeah but the players/core chose to ascend with bleed and chose bleed as their representatives. Riot always has said that orgs own/get the spot not players so yeah.

The guard situation was very different, initially they went for no team ascending but due to backlash from community reverted it and allowed the players(who all of them were free agents) to choose an org that would get into the league but here the org that the players + coach chose weren't good and got terminated.

So when the org fks up there’s no protection in place for the players? The players choosing to play for Bleed doesn’t mean they are at fault for the orgs wrongdoings

Leo Faria last year on EG case commented that the EG situation would encourage players to sign to good orgs and have good contracts (to avoid contract jail like EG) and pay their salaries on time(unlike bleed).
I understand your point that the players didn't do anything wrong but according to riot its not the players doing wrong but rather "the org" that the players got in with did

Encouraging players to sign with good orgs isn’t protecting the players. You can sign the best contract with the best org, and that org can still fk up. Now you are without a job when its not even your fault

That's just how the franchise system is for a t2 team. You choose an org , you ascend with them and then the org has the spot and they can do whatever, remove you or remove anyone else or even remove the whole team and sign all new players. They can even not accept the TPA after winning ascension and they all would be left out

But now we’re talking about a different case where the org fks up. If the player stopped performing well after ascending then they should be dropped. I’m not denying that.

You mention not signing the TPA and that’s exactly what happened last year with The Guard. But the players were given the opportunity to find an org, why is it not the case with the Bleed players

I am just saying how it is for a t2 team which ascends.
