it looked pretty stale in their last 2 matches. Is it because of synergy issues or do teams have already figured out ways to counter how they like to attack?

The lack of a good initiator does this to the team. The initiator has to be on the same page as the duelist to make him shine, when they don't have this synergy, there's no point. This synergy takes time. You just have to see how pathetic Zekken was attacking, he couldn't do the entry and he died several times without even see the enemy.
Only Aspas is capable of playing with an initiator who is not on the same page as him. Because he knows how to play Valorant and not just as a duelist.
He won't jump on the bomb for team trader, he will open the bomb with pure aim pixel by pixel until he manages to get a 1v1.
Sentinels are cooked imo.

Aspas is in a different system than Zekken tho. Also, SEN is not cooked, 2 offseason games mean nothing.

Solution for improvement: VOD reviews and iron out the mistakes
SEN will probably not achieve what they did this year heading into next year but they won’t be that bad

There is no exact solution. The ideal is for them to look for initiators who are great supports, and train as soon as possible. Or they can look for initiators that are not as good as support, but have a lot of fire power. This way Zekken can play like Miniboo. just die for space and the team won the trades.
