He was just meaning you can't "officially" have them on the team and announce it until then. They can still play with the team behind the scenes and trial and basically be a part of the team and jump through loopholes. And then be formally announced with the team once the off-season events start. That's my guess, at least, because how else would any teams that make roster changes this year be able to participate in these events in a couple weeks?

playing in RHG seems official to me. So we wont be able to see the roster even if they trial players

That's true, I totally spaced on when it started. Yeah I would assume Curry and a stand-in. Maybe one last hurrah for TenZ as well?
